What's up with Our Oldest?

She will be starting her own blog & we'll have a link to that as soon as she gets it ready. She's planning on having a flute concert, & the first piece will be the Michigan fight song. GO BLUE! She will turn 12 on April 16th!

The Tiny Big Boy's First Birthday

April is a busy month for us when it comes to birthdays. We had The Princess' party yesterday and The Big Boy's today. As is the custom, we let him destroy the cake. He seemed to enjoy it very much, as you can see from the video. The cake took 8 hours for mom to make and about eight minutes for The Big Boy to um, enjoy. Our next-door grandma stopped by again and as always Mema came by too. Our Big Son got a lot of nice gifts including a pack of swim diapers! Later this month we will have a party for Our Oldest and Dad too, it should be fun.

The Princess' 3rd Birthday

We had a princess party & mom made a princess cake which was surprisingly easy to do. In addition to our five, we had Mema, our next-door grandma, my good friend (she was one of my bridesmaids) & her 19 month-old daughter to help us celebrate. We did a barbeque & had a beautiful spring day here in St. Louis. Poor little Princess is still toothless in the front after the "boo-boo toof" incident, & will be until the permanent one is scheduled to come in (like in second or third grade...). I think it adds a little something, don't you?

The Big Boy's First Hair Cut

About a month ago, we took The Tiny Big Boy to get his first professional hair cut. We took him to Sportclips so he got to watch the ball game. It was a pretty penny, so mom cuts his hair from now on. They gave him a tiny football that says Sportclips on it & he runs around spiking it & saying "tuh-tuuuuhhh!!!!" (touchdown!).

Welcome everybody. Mom and I have decided to set up this blog in order to keep everybody posted on what is going on with the family. We know, as I'm sure all of you do, that we are all very busy and it's difficult to keep in touch with phone calls and e-mails and while we love talking to everybody (and when we can traveling for visits) we thought that this would be a quick and easy way to share with everybody what's going on with us. At this site you will find updates on what is going on as well as photos, videos and links that we hope you will enjoy. Please feel free to let us know what you think of the site, and perhaps you could start a page of our own it's easy and free! We will try to update this site a couple of times a month.
